Important and original Bidjar Iran Late 19th early 20th Dimensions 463 x 227 cm Wool velvet on cotton foundation Oxidation and wear. Chipped in one corner. Worn edges. Beautiful polychromy Beautiful decoration Brick-red field beautifully decorated with rows of finely drawn cypress trees surrounded by stylized diamond-shaped flower buds in polychrome. Five borders, the main one in golden yellow, decorated with Mina Khani motifs of small floral bulbs and stylized ruby flower buds.
