Pair of armchairs, beech, formerly lacquered, molded and carved. Medallion-shaped backrest, armrests with cuff and whip, connecting dice with rosettes, fluted tapered legs. Upholstered in black leather. One stamped JB Boulard for Jean-Baptiste Boulard received master in 1755. Transitional Louis XV- Louis XVI period. Restorations and reinforcements. To be compared with an armchair presented in Laurent Condamy's book "J.B Boulard menuisier du roi" pp.125-127.
